Dr Egbert Laege
Chief Executive Officer
Dr Egbert Laege serves as the CEO of EEX Asia since May 2016 and as the CEO of Powernext since January 2015.
He is also Executive Director Gas Markets of the EEX Group and Supervisory Board member of EPEX SPOT. He has been serving as a Board Member of European Federation of Energy Traders (EFET) from 2001 to 2016 and EUROPEX since January 2016.
Dr. Laege obtained his PhD from the University of Stuttgart in 2001. He spent 13 years at the European energy utility E.ON in commodity trading, holding several managerial positions before being appointed as Member of Board of E.ON Global Commodities and E.ON Ruhrgas.
Ray Ang Zhi Rui
Chief Operating Officer
A founding member of CLTX, Ray currently serves as Chief Operating Officer overseeing market operations, finance, technology and compliance functions based in Singapore. Under this role, Ray is responsible for managing the CLTX unique customer service model.
Ray has held previous positions at Freight Investor Services (FIS) London and at Barclays Capital based in Singapore.
Ray comes from Cass Business School and holds an MSc in Mathematical Trading and Finance and has obtained a BAcc Honours degree in Accountancy.

Lim Poh Leong
Head of Compliance
Lim Poh Leong, head of compliance comes with a vast amount of experience working with various futures and derivatives broking houses all licensed by the Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS).
Poh Leong is a specialist in the Securities and Futures Act (SFA). He has spent most of his financial career within the compliance sector.
Lim Poh Leong holds a BSc from the University of London majoring in Banking and Finance and is based in Singapore.
Erlend Engelstad
Head of Commercial
Erlend is the Head of Commercial for EEX’ business in Asia.
He oversees the commercial activities in the region and manages the sales team from EEX Asia’s Singapore office. Erlend has held previous positions with Marex and Nena (StormGeo) in Singapore, and has more than 15 years experience across commodity/energy derivatives markets.
He is educated at BI Norwegian Business School (Oslo) and Nanyang Technological University (Singapore).
